WHAT IS INNOBAHN?

InnoBahn is acceleration prompted by the meeting of two distinct but complementary worlds: big business and start-ups. InnoBahn steers promising start-ups with groundbreaking solutions towards companies with a need for innovation. InnoBahn is a road that leads to experimentation and to the validation of real solutions to help map out pathways for the future. InnoBahn is the fast lane for big companies and start-ups that want to drive their business by innovating.

The Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal, in collaboration with Ubisoft, is coordinating an original approach to innovation with an event that pairs big companies and start-ups. The two types of entities will get support from the team of experts at Hyperliens to help them prepare for their pairing.

There are several steps in the InnoBahn process. The big companies give the starting signal by expressing their innovation needs to the start-ups. Next come the qualification stages, after which participants take part in a big finale before an audience, where start-up finalists get to present their solution in just five minutes. Lastly, each big company gets to choose the start-up that best responds to its innovation challenge. The goal: to reach an agreement in which the proposed solution is tested as part of a pilot project.

Come present your innovative ideas, see how you compare to other start-ups, and—who knows?—perhaps even sign a contract!

You have until March 24, 2016 to apply by completing the form below. A selection committee will then choose the finalists that will be invited to present their solutions at the InnoBahn event on April 19, 2016.

Cancellation policy

No reservations, cancellations or refunds after the registration deadline. Participant substitutions are accepted at no extra charge until the event is held. Please note that only substitution notices sent by email at reservations@ccmm.ca will be accepted.
